Sir Christopher Lee | For Jason Clarke Photography

The legend that is Christopher Lee was in Dublin last night to receive a honorary membership of the UCD Law Society. He spoke fondly of his connections with Ireland and especially working with Colin Farrell a few years ago, even though his seen was cut from the film. His frail and tired posture seemed to perk up as questions of Tolkien and Saruman from the younger members of the audience, were put to him. But on the birthday of Bram Stoker there was no getting away from the inevitable questions on his most iconic role as Count Dracula. The audience including myself seemed to fall under a spell as his baritone voice filled the room.
